I have a Minolta t 101 it was my grandfathers camera. I'm looking to get a new slr but want one i can still use the lens from my Minolta on. Do any new cameras still use that lens fitting?

    Re: lenses?

No. The T101 used lenses with the SR mount - usually designated MD or MC. In about 1985, Minolta went with autofocus and changed to the A-mount - now called the Alpha mount by Sony (who bought out Minolta). The old lenses can be used with an adapter and there are some places (such as close-up or macro) where they still make sense, but generally it isn't worth the effort unless they are really nice. – TF
