    Introducing Myself

Hi, I'd just like to introduce myself here, since this is the forum section I'll probably be spending most of my time on!

My name is Theo, and I'm from San Diego. I shot digital for a while, but found it was boring for me, and I've received an Olympus OM20 (G)

I shot my first roll of film with it last week, it's being developed right now, hopefully the camera doesn't have any light leaks, and I actually took some decent pictures.

    Cheers!

    Hi Theodore, welcome to PR

Congrats on the "new" Oly  Like you, I started out with digi and made the swap to film. I have an OM-G and they are great little cameras. What did you get for lenses with it? Don't worry about light leaks. The seals are VERY easy to replace. What are you shooting for film? Hope to see some shots when they come back from getting developed

    Happy Shooting,
    Aaron

Tri-X 400 so far, just ordered some more rolls of it off B&H as well as a tank.

Not going to do any enlarging yet, plus I have access to a negative scanner.

    Re: Introducing Myself

Welcome to the forum! I started out digital as well, and while I still use it as my main tool, I like to shoot film too just because it's different. I like the look of film, and especially when using the TLR, the way you really slow down and look at a picture.

Anyway, glad to have another film shooter around - looking forward to seeing your shots!

Welcome! I started off with film, Minolta gear mostly. Then went digital, but I maintain my film work!

Can't wait to see you shots.

    Re: Introducing Myself

Hello and welcome! I'm glad to see the Film forum is bringing in new members.

If I had to pick one film to shoot for the rest of my life, it would be TriX. It's right up there with my Bob Marley Legend CD on my list of favorite things.

Let us see some photos when you get a chance.

    Paul
