Got some new film for my Canonet GIII

This ought to make Aaron happy! I'm going to put my Canonet through some more film tests, this time using Portra 160VC and Velvia 50, the latter of which I found out was about twice the price of the former, but I need to try it at least once.

I did shoot some slide film recently but my Epson scanner just isn't putting out enough light for good scans. I really need a dedicated film scanner! I also shot some Ilford FP4+ that I'm sending out for processing in rodinal. Can't wait for those! The last batch produced some great b/w shots.

Anyhow, I'm gonna shoot the Portra first and I'll post my results in a couple of weeks.

Oh, almost forgot...I finally got brave enough to open up the top of my Canonet and clean the viewfinder. Man, what a difference!! If any of you out there have rangefinders, you know what it is like to try and manually focus with a hazy viewfinder–not fun!

Hey, what can I say, you were turning out some great shots with the ol' Canonet before. I should break out mine sometime as well. It's been collecting dust for a while now. Actually, all of my 35mm cameras have been

Do you know where I could find an exploded parts diagram for the QL17 GIII? I actually have 3 of them now but, 2 of them need a little bit of a cleaning.
