    First Try...

First crack (pun intended..) at developing my own stuff. Scratches I don't like..but otherwise happy.
Saturation is off in the second picture now that I see it side by side. Kinda like the Sepia feel.. B&W with the grain and everything makes pictures truly beautiful. Screw digital!

hey congrats on your scanner, i too got a new canon scanner the 4400, i love it i can take my nagative scan it as a tiff at 49 mb's file size or as a jpeg at around 25 mb's file size, which translate to a really big blow up if i choose too, i noticed that dust or hair off the dogs face,i had the same problem but lots of it,found out later that its dust clinging to the light strip on your lid, should get a blower to clean before scanning those dust or little hairs really show up like crazy on the scanned image,( i almost gave the store **** for wrecking my negatives, until i saw the tiny hairs.) its kinda fun going back to digital.
