    First pics from Vito B

I'm still learning this scanning caper but here are a couple of pics from my $50 Voigtlander with $2.20 film. The film is Lucky 100 developed in Rodinal.

Looking good Cameron. How are you liking the Lucky film? At the prices I have seen for it here, under $2 a roll, I've been tempted to pick some up to try out.

Aaron, the lucky film curls significantly when trying to load it onto the reel. I had some problems getting it loaded on the reel but eventually got there. I've read elsewhere that this is a problem. But at $2.20 a roll it isn't too bad (Kodak Tri X 400 is $8.10 a roll here). It was developed in Rodinal 1:25 according to the Massive development chart. I would be interested if anyone has details for Rodinal 1:50 as this is what I used to use many years ago. I will probably put a Kodak or Ilford B&W film through the camera at some stage just to compare results.

I've had the same problem with Plus-X. Always a bitch to get started on reel as it's so curly. Rodinal 1:50 should just be double double whatever time you find for 1:25. It's like the HC-110 dilution I use. I usually use dil. H which is 1:64. Most film companies list times for dil. B which is 1:32. I just take the times listed for B and double it for H. When you want to try different films, I wouldn't count out Fuji's Neopan 400 or Acros 100. Both excellent films and cheaper than any Ilford or Kodak film.

Holy crap! Are you serious?!?! Not sure what the 35mm runs here but, in 120 it's about $3 a roll here, while most Kodak and Ilford 120 rolls are running about $4 each.
