First attempt at "practical" Zone use

Went out this morning for some practice a little after sunrise. I would loved to say I fully calculated everything out but, they were kind of guestimated for exposure and compensated development time. Pretty happy with how they came out, especially the one shot straight into the sun. You can't make it out with this small of a scan but, there is full detail just about the whole length of it, though I couldn't quite get full detail in the whole shot. These are straight scans and the only editing done was a dam cat hair I missed before scanning. So how'd I do?

These were shot with the Rolleicord, Plus-X 125, and a Rollei Red filter.

They have a very classic look to them Aaron I can't wait to try the Yashica. I will have to get use to the 80mm fixed focal length though. For some reason it seems I live around 30mm range and wish I had a wider lens for the Bessa.

Great job, Aaron! Looks like you nailed the development. You can probably see how it's possible to learn how to do this with out getting into the full level of detail with the zone system.

This for the most part was just playing around but, it definitely has opened my eyes to the possibilities. Makes me see how "one dimensional" my approach has been so far
