Nice shots, I really like these a lot, and you have a knack for naming pictures, something I can never do. One thing though, they seem to be lacking in sharpness..Remember what aperature they were taken at? What film? Maybe I'm just spoiled by primes.

I agree with Theodore, but looking closely, it appears as though the center-most portion of the frame is a bit sharper than the rest. That aside, both are great images with great color and exposure; nice job.

Can't say I see what you're talking about.

They give me the feeling of waking up and realizing I fell asleep with contacts on. Something about the lack of sharpness all over.

Looking good pbd. Just curious, what is that thing in the second shot? Some sort of farm implement??? Also, what film were you using?

    Re: a few scanned photo's from f70d

thanks guys for looking, the second shot is a old vintage combine pulled by tractor i think, lol, well before my time,
all shots were taken with kodak 400 iso film,as for the sharpening,i guess i should have done some post processing abit, i was thinking on the drive home today, from work that all my film is done with iso 400,i guess i should be on sunny days adjusting the exposure compensation to more around -1.0 ,
second question is on this camera i put a polarizer lens over and i noticed that a few of my shots was having dark corners all four ,what would make that happen, never does on the digital camera,?

What were you using for a lens when you got the vignetting? I'm assuming the 28-80? Did it occur at all focal lengths or just the wide end?

    Re: a few scanned photo's from f70d

the lens was the 28-70mm and mostly on the wide angle focal length, i haven't had the chance to try it on the f65,28-80mm lens yet,so little curious if it happens to that camera as well, and what i'm doing wrong, the best example i could give would be like throwing a long lens on and then using the built in flash, your going to get a corner to corner shadow effect around the image, i'm getting this effect just with a polarizer screw on filter over the 28-70 mm lens at close wide angle shooting.

    Re: a few scanned photo's from f70d

Sounds like the problem is wha Aaron was hinting at. On some wide angle lenses, a filter can actually stick out enough to block some light, which causes the vignetting. Changing cameras shouldn't make a difference, as it's caused by the relationship b/t the front lens element and the filter. So, your solutions are:
    1) Buy one of those ultra-slim filters
    2) When using the polarizer, don't use the widest zoom settings
    3) If the vignetting isn't too bad, just leave it as-is.

Great shots. Two questions - what did you use to scan these shots, and is the F70d the European version of the N70?
