    canon 4400 scanner

wow,wow and wow,go this scanner , now normally i get my film developed at the store, put on disc then upload to computer to touch up a bit then put on web, normal file size is about 500 kb, well this scanner not only cleans up the image way better, but records at 48bits, and stores the image on the computer at 12.3 megs, that one heck of a poster size production print if i choose to, does anyone have any pointers for me or suggestions, or experience with this type of scanner,?.

Congrats on the new scanner pbd! How are you liking it? It was a toss up when I got mine to either get the Canon or Epson. The best thing I can recommend for a flatbed is to get a microfiber lens cloth to wipe down the glass EVERY time you change negatives. Looking forward to seeing some shots
