Been wanting one of these for a while

a shutter release cable! And it only cost me $5 used at the camera store. Now I can start playing around with time exposures.

By the way, just got my Velvia 50 slides back. I can already tell this will be a great film for spring. I am having them scan a couple slides for print and I'll pick them up tomorrow. Later, I'll try to post a few of my own scans from slides.

That's a nice looking shutter release cable. I have a couple of them, but neither are in very good shape...they have a little too much resistance in them.

Velvia 50 is an awesome film...not for people, but for just about anything else. You should give Astia a try some time too. It's great for portraits, but still has the nice vibrant look of slide film. Those are probably my two favorite color films.

Looks like a nice solid cable. I need to pick myself up a new one. Looking forward to seeing how the Velvia turned out for you.
