    Anyone into pinhole photography?

Someone on another site posted a link to an amazing pinhole photographer that I thought I would share here. His name is Wayne Martin Belger. Not only does he take some excellent photographs, he also makes some incredible pinhole cameras. Actually, incredible is a huge understatement. You'll see Here's the link for those that might be interested in having a look:

    Re: Anyone into pinhole photography?

I've got that copy of B/W mentioned at the web site. I kind of like that web site too.

The current B/W issue, April 2008, "Regional Focus on Russia - St. Petersburg", has work in it by Igor Bryakliev who builds his own cameras and works in pinhole photography.

This to me seems as much of a separate photographic discipline as Large Format. They are kind of related in setup and exposure. I've got pinhole setups (including digital) but rarely find the time. I'll look and see what I've got scanned that's handy.

Oh, Pinholes are the easiest things to make. Just save your shoeboxes!

I just got that issue in but, haven't gone through it yet. I'll have to take a closer look when I get home. I've been eyeing a Zero Image 6x9 but, have other priorities that have to come first, like stocking up on chemicals and paper. You're right I should just make my own. Might be a good project for my upcoming days off

An interesting site. I must say that I have never been a big fan of pinhole photography, but I did enjoy looking at his site. His cameras are a work of art in themselves. I did make a pinhole camera about a year ago or so, out of a match box. I shot one roll of film with it, and reloaded a second. It's still sitting here on my desk with the unexposed film in it.

Here is a link to the camera I made.
