    My Mac Will Not Recognize My Hd Camcorder

    I Just Bout A Sony Hdr-ux10/ux20. When I Connect It With The Usb Cord It Doesn't Come Up In Finder... What Shall I Do?

    I am not sure, does the camera come with a firewire port? you might find you need to use that. otherwise contact your local apple store. a few minutes with the genius bar should get you working.

    I have a Sony HC and I was NOT able to connect it with a USB cable. You need a firewire. I think it was a 4 pin to 6 pin cable. You can get them at any store.

    They specs show that it is not compatible with Mac, but it will be read if you use the firewire. I use Imovie for my video editing and such.
