How do you edit .wmv file w/ Adobe Premiere?

I am using Premiere 6 and when I try to open a .wmv video clip, Premiere would not find it.
Premiere locates .avi file without a problem.

    Help?

Also note, Virtualdub does not convert .wma files anymore because of Microsoft.

If anybody know a solution, please let me know. The quality of the conversion is not important.

You might want to check out the User to User Forums that Adobe has. Scroll down until you get to the Premiere forum:

Record the computer screen with a video camera then import into premiere via firewire? if you get the lines on the screen, try recording it of a laptop tft screen (you dont get thoes lines from tft screen!).
