Hi. I am curious to know if anyone has experience with the DXG-565 camcorder. I was looking at it the other day at Wal-mart and I was wondering how good it really was. This is the tech stats.

The reason I ask about this camera, is becuz my sister has been looking for a camera for everyday use. She's the type that would keep the video camera handy and record everyone in the house all day long LOL. But doing real editing with it isn't really her interest, and certainly not rotoscoping/fx work like I do. I showed it to her, and she seemed to like the small size and everything, but I wanted to know if anyone had any experience and knew the quality of it. Hey cam doesn't have to be super great quality HD or anything, but she doesn't want a piece of crap either. Something better then the digital still cam with video feature that I currently use.(See my thread "camera for rotoscoping to see of my videos with that cam)
Something else that peaked my interest, is the fact that this cam uses SD cards, and has an RCA out to go to your TV. And it got me to wondering, could you take, videos from your PC, and put on the SD card, and them watch said videos on your tv as a digital video player?
This would be great for me, as I download videos and burn to my DVDRW to watch on my tv, as its much more enjoyable then sitting at the computer.
