    Wireless Adapter for dSLR

I borrowed a Rebel XT from my school to take pictures, and as I was reading through the manual, I saw some kind of wireless adapter for Canon dSLRs that would send pictures to a computer. I was hoping someone here would know where I could get information about that.

I was hoping that I would be able to get a wireless adapter, and during events, stream pictures to a semi-live slideshow on a projector.

    thank you for you help

I don't know this particular camera, but yes...many cameras now have wireless adapters. If you have access to a camera store (not Walmart), they may have them available for this particular camera. If not, they can probably order it for you and show you how to use it. If you don't have access to a full service camera store, go to the Canon website, www.canon.com , and you can find where to order it from. Hope this helps a little.

    Re: Wireless Adapter for dSLR

I think the wireless transmitter is linked to the Firewire (IEEE 1394) port.
Does the XT have an IEEE port to connect this to?

I looked at the WFT-E1 manual online here
    http://www.cps.canon-europe.com/serv...es?oid=8518484

Updating to version 2.0.1 firmware will enable the WFT-E1/E1A to be used in combination with the EOS 20D.

But no mention of the 10D or the XT.
