    Remote Control

    Good-day,

Is it possible to control more (i.e., zoom, focus, etc.) than just the shutter with either the D70 or D100?

    Thank you for your time.

    Auf wiedersehen,

    James

Zoom is totally manual, on any SLR lens.

Focus will function just like it does with the shutter, when you half-press the remote button, it will focus on the area that's selected.

How to tell the most experienced shooter in a group? They have the least amount of toys on them.

Seb's right. My Fuji S2 has shooting software that lets you control a lot of camera functions and shoot from a Mac, but nothing having to do with the lens. If you have it set to autofocus, it should be able to focus before it shoots though.

I've never used the software because I don't have a Mac (it doesn't work on Windoze) and really haven't had a need for it. I think Nikon Capture software has some of these features too.
