Nintendo and Ubisoft have teamed up once again for a sequel to the original Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, a well-received turn-based strategy game that debuted early on on the Switch. Nintendo and Ubisoft are now reviewing the series. Play it again with Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.


The sequel will bring Mario,

Luigi, Peach, Rabbid Rosalina and others beyond the Mushroom Kingdom. They will have to save the entire galaxy and face a villain named Cursa. However, they will have a new ally by their side called Sparks,

which looks like the Rabbid version of Lumas from Super Mario Galaxy.This time, the developers say they are adding new action elements to "Pushing the boundaries of tactical gaming even further."


The first trailer and gameplay were shown at Ubisoft Forward E3, but details began to surface earlier on Saturday. Nintendo appears to have jumped the gun with the Sparks of Hope eShop listing, which was later stripped down.Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is an exclusive game for Nintendo Switch, coming out in 2022.
