Iceland and Green King said they had to close shops and pubs. Due to staff shortages caused by people forced to self-quarantine by NHS Covid app.
Iceland said that after SLOTXO opening all its stores during the lockdown period, It had to be partially closed now as 1,000 employees were "pinged" by the app.
Chief Executive Richard Walker said: "The irony is that we are all vaccinated now.Greene King has closed 33 pubs last week as employees self-isolate.
