Is Digital Slr Best Above All ?

I would like to know if digital slr is best above all, despite of the price, size, brand.

Well, in short - yes. But, its a lot more work than people think, its a lot different, and it requires much more skilled execution then modern point and shoot digicams. The cheapest and most basic current DSLR (w/ a good lens on it), will run circles around the highest end point and shoot.
