Is Digital Slr Best Above All ?

I would like to know if digital slr is best above all, despite of the price, size, brand.

Well, in short - yes. But, its a lot more work than people think, its a lot different, and it requires much more skilled execution then modern point and shoot digicams. The cheapest and most basic current DSLR (w/ a good lens on it), will run circles around the highest end point and shoot.

Cameras are tools.

All are capable of great results in the right hands. However, great cameras don't make great images. Great photographers do.
