    That is the combination I would have suggested. The 18-55 and 55-200 are designed for the camera. These are low-end lenses (made mostly of plastic, even the lens mount), but the optical quality is good. If you were a professional I would say go for something more solid but if you just do a few thousand pictures a year then nothing to worry about.

    There is a new version of the 55-200 with VR (vibration reduction) but I don't think your package includes it. I have VR on one of my lenses - it's useful for doing photos in dark churches without a tripod but not essential
