Re: Canon D Rebel XTI vs EOS 30D

I happen to own both bodies. A few of the differences
The 30D is larger, heavier (magnisium body vs plastic)
    30D 5fps XTi 3fps
    30D has spot metering
30D shutter speed to 1/8000 XTi to 1/4000
30D has a faster shutter release
30D has a longer lasting battery
30D has ISO in 1/3 stops & 3200 XTi has 100-1600 in full stops
    XTi has a sensor cleaner
    XTi offers an inferred remote
Images are on par with each other, I prefer the 30D but the XTi is excellent
