Hi my name is Norah and I am new to digital photography. I have a Canon Rebel and a bunch of noob questions :blush2:

I cant figure how to switch the view from slr to LCD. Ive gine into the menue and selected enable on "Live view function settings but that didnt do it. I am afrade with my experimenting with thew menue items that somehow I have messed it all up. :confused5:

You did fine. Turning on Live View is actually so simple it's easy to miss. You went into the menu and enabled it. You need to do that or it's not possible to turn it on. Now that it's enabled, just press the "SET" button in the middle of the four-way key pad on the back of the camera. That will turn it on and off. It's that easy.
