The 20D is also listed in the reviews here, although it's not actually available yet. I believe what Phil Askey tested was a pre-release model. The press release was timed to build buzz before the Photokina tradeshow that takes place in Germany at the end of this month. I don't think we'll be seeing the camera in stores before that show. The press release did say it will be available in September, though. So maybe it will show up at the very end of the month.
If someone does already have one. I'd like to hear about it.
The 20D is available, I believe Calmut has them, they are on sale in Canada as well. There are quite a few postings by people on the dpreview.com Canon 20D/10D/300D/D30/D60 forum as well.
I put my deposit down on a body and was told late September. I see some people on the net already have theirs but they are all Kit purchasers as far as I can tell. I remember the same thing happening with the 10D, kits first, then bodies...I can wait, I have a 10D to keep me happy in the mean time.

Picked on up today. My local camera store was more than happy to pull the lens out and sell it to me as a body only. So far I'm pleased. Use the 10d also.
