Your Favorite Dig Cam 3.0MP Or Less

I just acquired a mint condition Olympus C-2100 aka UZ1 on Ebay and for a digital camera that is eight years old and only 2,1MP, all I can say is "I'm impressed" It's built in 10x zoom, image stablization and EVF were way ahead of it's time. Of course it doesn't have the resolution of my Pentax k200d but for great back-up camera, it's perfect, especially for low light photography. I consider this one a classic. Anyone else have an older digital camera you just can't seem to part with either?

Re: Your Favorite Dig Cam 3.0MP Or Less

It's not quite as old (4 years) or as low res (5mp), but I can't part with my Canon S2IS.

It is the camera that reignited my love of photography. I sort of fell out of love with photography back in the film days because it would cost me money every time I wanted to go out and shoot. I would end up buying a roll of film and getting it process to have one good image, it didn't allow me to expand my abilities enough.

Then I went digital and became hooked again. This camera was a great way for me to get back into it and get some great practice, all without spending an additional dime once my capital expenditures were taken care of.

Having almost complete manual control (MF was more of a pain than it was worth with this camera) and a built in lens that did well with macro and decent with tele got me having fun with a camera again.

I don't think i could ever part with it.
Please ask before editing my photos, I'll say yes

I like to take the pictures...
