Worst Digital Camera You've Ever Owned?

    Hey All,
Have you ever owned a digcam that was so bad, it almost made you go back to film? Well, the first digital camera I owned was a 3MP Vivitar (forgot model but it's a paperweight now) My Christmas shots were one big mess, red stockings and other red decorations turned out all purple with blurs and streaks, it wasn't a Merry Christmas that year (2003) Now I know why Vivitar (Polaroid too) put their cams in blister packs to be hung on a hook at drug stores and discount houses. I was pretty upset because I've loved the Vivitar lenses I used to use when I was doing 35mm.

Our first Digicam was a Kodak C3700 or something like that. It's a 4MP P&S. I think the image quality is pretty good in it, but you could only take a hand full of photos before you needed new batteries. No need on putting a big memory card in it because you would run out of power before you ran out of space. It still works fine, but it's too big for a pocket camera. I take the wife's Canon A540 (or something like that) if I want a pocket camera.

A 1MP Fujifilm. This was when digital cameras first appeared in the market. It was like $900 at the time... what a terrible little camera it was...

Re: Worst Digital Camera You've Ever Owned?

Technically, I didn't own it but... I tried the digicam of an 8-year old (my friend's kid). It was one of those $40 no-name specials from the drug store. Horrible, awful images but she and her friends had a great time with it. It did have kittens on it though...

My earliest camera was a friend's Olympus 1.3 MP. Not so good by today's standards but not bad either. Using that camera was shocking as it completely turned my opinion about digital 180-degrees around. From the first use, I knew film was soon to be a goner. FWIW, Never really owned a bad digicam!
