What camera is for me?

Morning Folks. I am also looking for a new camera. By no means am I a professional. I've only owned one camera before and it was crap. Honestly I'm just looking for a sleek camera to fit in my pocket for everyday use. I'm going on a trip soon and would like something compact that takes good quality pictures and has a quick flash. My price range is only about $150-$250. I was looking at the Nikon Coolpix S60 and S230 but read some bad reviews. I do like the touch screen option though. I had a Sony Cybershot from like 4 years ago but the picture quality was horrible...especially at night. Any suggestions? Thanks

hello everyone!! I'm also looking for a good camera for recording concerts.

I want a regular digital camera that I can use in daily life. I have one now that records videos and sound, but the sound is incredibly screechy when the symbols are played. I want a camera that doesn't rob my bank account and has a good picture with great sound. Also, I want the camera to be able to take good shots without flash.
