A way to put a 35mm lens on a digital camera?

Just a general question. Is there any way to put my 35mm lenses on my Nikon digital camera?

    Thanks for all your help.

Nikon point and shoot- no. Nikon DSLR - that depends on the lens. We need more info on the lens than just '35mm lens'.

if you have a nikon dslr, then your 35mm lenses will work...but work is a loose term. Non cpu lenses will have you working purely in manual. no metering, no auto focus.

Re: A way to put a 35mm lens on a digital camera?

hi my name is Jim, I use to shoot 35mm. I learned to shoot with a nikkormat FT3 then I bought a nikon F3HP and several lens, light meter etc. Most of the stuff was stolen and it took me several years to shoot another picture. I now have a nikon D70s and a few lens left over from the F3hp. They are Ai indexed and coupled to the meter of the F3hp. They are 50/250, 135 2.8 and a 50mm 1.2. This D70s is kicking my behind. These lens couple to this camera but do not meter nor auto focus. I'm trying to figure out how to meter, change the f/stop and the speed. I'd appreciate any help, thank you Jim
