    Unhappy Water in lcd screen...

Last nite i dumped a glass of water on my couch by mistake and it got onto my canon a520. Now when i turn on the camera, i can see the water spot comin down the screen. Did this ever happen to anybody and does it just go away, or do i need to take it apart or send it in. Thanks for the help.

I wouldn't turn it on with water in it, it may short something out!

    Re: Water in lcd screen...

Odds are you have some droplets between the protective cover and the screen itself. As JSP pointed out, don't turn it on. Take it to a reputable repair shop and they can probably just remove the cover and dry it out for you.
