using zoom on video

i have noticed when i zoom in video mode i get a grating noise any ideas.

yeah, its the lens zooming.

hmmm...May be it is a noise from lens.But you have to take it to the technician.

What camera is it? If it has an electronic zoom, it will just make that noise. Of it's a manual zoom control, the gears may be grinding and need cleaning.

may be anbesol is right but you have to take it to the technician if it is in warranty period.
