Telephoto lens

What are my possiblities with a telephoto lens and a Fuji S5100? i take alot of arcitecural pictures so id like some more perspectives on the buildings. Which ones would you suggest for my camera.


then also can someone shed some light on filters for me still trrying to leanr about cameras and dont really know what a filter does?

Manufacturers who I would think should have lenses for your camera are Kenko, Tiffen, and of course - Fujifilm. But I checked both the Fujifilm site and B&H and couldn't find anything available for your camera. So I'm not sure what to say. Your camera already has a longer focal length than most SLR owners have. So maybe you can be more creative about angles? Or crop a bit? I know that's a lame answer. But since I can't find anything available, it makes it hard to make a recommendation. You might look on ebay for a used lens.

The most important filter for color photography is a circular polarizer. With digital, that's really the only filter you need. It cuts glare and increases saturation. When you see color photos with really dark blue skies and bright green foliage, the photographer probably used a circular polarizer. I own two of them, for two different lenses.
