I hope someone has one of these because I'm at a loss. Simply put, I don't know how to use the timer. Yes, I've read the manual, and it has a page dedicated to the timer, but it doesn't give the sequence of events to get to the timer. I would have to say it doesn't seem at all obvious to me and it's annoying me. The manual also speaks of a remote control which I don't have, although it doesn't say that this is essential to a timer.

Completely at the end of my tether here. Can anyone help?
