Hello! I'm very new here. After searching around for some good sites to come to for digital camera information this looked like a pretty good spot. I'm looking into getting a new camera to replace my girlfriends aging Olympus point and shoot. I'm thinking of getting the Samsung NV11 that just came out (the replacement to the NV10) because of its build quality and simpleness. She take tons of photos, documenting everything and anything so I thought the Samsung's metal body camera will withstand her abuse. ;) Also that it seems to have great video features (640x480) which is perfect because she's just getting into the whole video sharing thing on Vimeo.com. Anyways here's my dilema:
I want to get a 2nd battery with it and it seems like the NV10 battery is different from the NV11's battery. I can't find any (YET) that match the NV11's battery specs.
Info from Samsungcamera.com:
NV11's Battery is a 3.7V Li-ion battery (SLB-1137D)
NV10's Battery is a SLB-0837(B) (800mAh)
But when I look B&H's web site they list both as using the same type of battery (SLB-0837 B)
Which one is which? I've also found a model SLB-1137 else where and would like to know if this is the same as the SLB-1137D or is it a little different, maybe shape is different?
Thanks for any information.
