Red skies where there should be blue !

I love my Sony Cyber-Shot U20, its actually blue, unlike my recent shots where there's a serious pink hue where the blue sky should be (OK I'm in England so the blue's more a grey, but certainly not pink !) I've reset the camera, used another mem card, new batteries etc... but to no avail. Curiously the image in the LCD looks OK ?

I'm assuming the CCD must be faulty ? how can I check this &/or any other advice ?

Sounds like a white balance issue. I'm with Sebastian. We need to see an image to really evaluate.
