Hey guys,

I just bought a Canon Powershot SD750 not even three months ago. It worked fine, but last night I took one picture inside the house and then all of a sudden the screen went black. The screen is getting power, I can see menu's, all the previous pictures in playback mode and the gridlines and everything but the screen is black on record mode, with faint white dots falling like snow. You can clearly see this faint "falling static" when you zoom in maximum. Otherwise the screen just looks black.

In video mode, I record a video, I only get a black screen and audio.
I don't know what the problem is, I hear the CCD sensor has problems but on the SD750?

Problem is I used to live in Houston but moved to Dubai, UAE 2 months ago. I hope I can get it replaced through Canon here or I would have to send it to the US.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.
