Please help to decide: Olympus X-750 vs. Kodak Easyshare C-643

Hi there!
I´ve never ever bur nor use a digital camera, so I´m pretty new with this stuff.
I´ve been searching my City´s stores to get any advice about which to buy, and after a lot of struggle between several stores, I came up with two options:
Olympus X-750 vs. Kodak Easyshare C-643

Which should I choose?
I need the camera for:

- Take pictures that will be uploaded to a website, so they will be primarily used to got into screen.
- Record some short videos to upload them to a website too.
- I would like to spend the less possible in gadgets: More memory, batteries, etc...

What do you recommend me?

I think I would choose the Olympus. The specs and features of both cameras are very comparable. But the Olympus looks more compact and I like the way they build cameras better than Kodak. The Olympus is also a more current camera than the Kodak - at least in the US. The only possible issue with the Olympus (it's called the FE-190 in the US) is it uses xD Picture Card memory, which is not as common as the SD cards that the Kodak uses. But if you buy a decent-sized xD card (512MB or 1 Gig) then it won't be a problem. You'll have plenty of memory. Battery life is very good on most digital cameras now so I wouldn't worry about that.

Agreed. Kodak has some (not all models, not all the time) issues with the mechanism that extends and retracts the lens as well. It usually rears it's ugly head after the warranty expires, and costs nearly as much as a new camera. The Olympus has a more solid feel, and the materials seem stronger, at least in feel.
