    Parking in Fortitude Valley

If you are looking to park in the city on a weekday for less than 2 hours, street parking is a great option. If you are lucky enough to score street parking, the price for a 4 hour time limit is capped at $11. Street parking range from $3.80/hour to $6.20 per hour, with limits for up to 3 or 4 hours. Meanwhile, if you need to pop in for a quick errand, parking at most council car parks are free for the first 15 minutes.

If you are looking to park all day, it’s best you book a parking space at one of the car parks to not get stung with a parking ticket. All-day parking is available on the Oscar platform at various locations within the heart of Fortitude Valley at competitive rates.

Planning to have a big night in town? Having to leave your car behind overnight last-minute?vParking past midnight is available for a flat fee of $30 so you can enjoy your evening and not have to think about your parking. Just make sure you exit the car park before noon the next day. If you require more time, just extend your time or make another booking via the Oscar app.

You may prefer to lock in a permanent parking spot and save yourself the trouble of having to think about parking every day. Arranging monthly parking (whether it’s 24/7, just Monday to Friday, or for a few days a week) is also something Share with Oscar can help with. Monthly parking is also generally cheaper than booking daily as you are locking yourself in for the month.

The two main companies that provide car parks in Fortitude Valley are Secure Parking and Cornerstone Parking. Parking rates may change from time to time so I’ve provided links to the relevant car park here to check the parking rates. I have however marked where there is free parking at the time of writing. Unfortunately, it doesn’t makeup too many of them! Parking in Fortitude Valley
