Wow! I'm sure happy I kept the LX3 as they just put out a firmware that upgrades many features on this camera. It's a fine camera to begin with. I think this firmware covers every complaint about this camera, including slow AF, WB problems in low light, and much more. It's almost like having a new model. Kudos to Panasonic for their customer service - and upgrading an "older" camera with all their new stuff on the market. Unfortunately the LX3 is hard to come by and when there is one available the price is about $500-600 or more instead of $399 that I paid for mine. It would be nice if they produced more copies for people who have been looking for this camera.
