Does anyone know how to get a old film effect minus the noise on regular digital pictures?

Can you be more specific in what effect you want? What software do you use?

For many subjects, sepia toning, boosting contrast and some vignetting can give an old feel.

I have your basic adobe photoshop elements. but I dont want a sephia tone or a black and white. thats too much "oldness" I would like to recreate the effect that pictures from the 70's with the super 8 film look to them.
