Nikon DK-21M Magnify Eyepiece on Canon G9?

Does anyone know if the Nikon DK-21M Magnify Eyepiece be made to work on the Canon G9 viewfinder? Thanks.

I don't know for sure. But my guess would be no. I don't believe the G9 eyepiece has the slots to allow for an eyepiece mount. You can see a large picture of the camera from our pro review, here: http://gallery.photographyreview.com...&size=big&cat=

I also think the optics would have to be matched. I'm also not sure about that. But if the magnifying eyepiece doesn't match the G9's lens, the viewfinder image may just be a blurry mess. I've seen that with compact digital camera converter lenses.
