    Nikon D90 or ???

Hi, I'm new to the photography world and new to this forum but I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

I've decided I'm going to purchase a SLR camera and I don't mind spending alittle bit of money but I definitely want to get something I will be able to grow with and not regret the purchase in the near future. And something that's worth the money.

So at the moment I'm definitely liking the Nikon D90 but I'm trying to keep my options opened but not sure what other cameras I should compare that to.

    Any Suggestions????

    Welcome to the forums!
The D90 seems to be a good camera. Why are you leaning towards it.
How involved are you going to be in photography?
What kind of photography interests you?
What's your definition of a little bit of money!
The camera body is only a part of a system and you'll probably end up spending more on lenses, tripods, bags, cards, etc., etc.
    Keep Shooting!

Well the D90 definitely feels good...I'm comfortable holding it. But at the same time I'm just not sure what other models I should be comparing it to.

My interest in photography is definitely growing quite a bit. I actually signed up for a couple classes.

I travel quite a bit, so take the general landscaping and some portrait (which I would like to getting better at) but the sharpness of colour is very important to me.

As for the money, I'm well aware that the accessories adds up which I don't mind but at the end of the day I don't want to get a camera and a lenses that I'll regret for not buying something better to begin with. I'd rather spend the money up front.
