    Newbie Question????????

Why is It that I can't increase my shutter speed past 200 when my flash pops up? This is a d90. Thanks.

    Re: Newbie Question????????

I dont own a D90 but probably this "issue" is because you are shooting in some "auto" setting. Try to use the manual settings so you can play with the flash, ISO and other settings at will.

The set flash sync is !/200 on the D90. Only mode you can change that is manual...I think.

    Well, welcome to the site.
Asking questions not only helps you with answers, at least most of the time, but helps us remember what we do and don't know.
I wasn't sure about the flsh sync but thought that must be it and by looking it up was able to verify. Now I know something I didn't before.
