Need Help

Hi all,

I came accross to this site and thought of signing up since there's a lot to know here. (Other than just asking help from everyone)

I have a digicam and while it was on i accidentally dropped it.:mad2: It's a Canon powershot sd630. Right now the optical is not retracting back. It's still turning on though however i can no longerr point and shoot. I brought it to Canon Service Ctr in Shaw Blvd and was given a quote of approx PHP7000 (USD160). Optical for PHP5,222 and Service Charge of PHP1,700. Still thinking if i should have it repaired there or bring it somewhere else. Buying a new cam is not on my list yet so i thought of asking where to find a shop that can diagnose the problem first.
