The most straigt forward question ever.

I'm trying to spend the LEAST amount of money I can. I want a digital camera that has a nice display on the back to review pictures I've taken. There are 50 thousand digital cameras on ebay. Which camera is actually worth buying for a really low number? I'm sure there are certain cameras in the low numbers that you guys would say "not worth it, for $25 more could get this and it would be worth it". Show me that camera! All I need it for is to take pictures to put items on ebay and the occasional vacation etc. Thanks!

If only it were that simple!

You need to give us a little more information. There are lots of great cameras available for under $200 now. Is that within your budget or are you looking for something far cheaper? And what do you plan to take pictures of with it? If you buy a camera that can't do the job, it doesn't matter how cheap it was - you just wasted your money. The most important consideration is how much money, though. Tell us what you really want to spend and we can give you some suggestions

John, the best camera for under 200 would be great. As I said all I ever would need a camera for is myspace pictures, ebay items and VERY occasional outdoor/vacation etc. lol. No sports, no bird watching, and def nothing to capture movement.

    Ampz-
Thanks for giving me some more budget info. Under $200 is easy now. And big LCDs are standard. Here are a couple of cameras I think will work for you. They're both just over $200 from the dealer partners listed on our review pages. They both have 2.5-inch LCD displays and they'll both give you better image quality than you need for eBay. They also have optical image stabilization, which helps ensure sharp photos in low light by compensating for camera shake. I try to avoid cameras without image stabilization now.

    Panasonic Lumix FS3 >>

    Canon PowerShot A590 IS >>

Let me know if you have more questions. I think either of those cameras will more than do the job for you. And I have had good experiences with both Canon and Panasonic. I like Canon better for image quality, although they'll both be great. I usually like Panasonic more for controls and performance. But again, either camera should really surprise you. Digital cameras have come a long, long way in the past few years
