    Minolta Lens Compatability

    HI
I am new to digital SLR photography andwould like to get a new, or second-hand digital SLR body that would accept my Minolta A-Mount lenses.
I understand Sony bodies work with these lenses, or is it Konica/minolta?
    any suggestions please!
    Many thanks

    Your Minolta A-mount lenses will indeed work Sony DSLR's (a100, a200, a300, a350, a700, a900), as well as the Konica-Minolta DSLR's (5D and 7D).

I was in your shoes two weeks ago and got a Sony Alpha 700 that fits all my old Minolta lenses. She's a real beauty, you won't be disappointed. But all the Sony Alphas should work for you.

Considering Sony inherited all of Minolta's business - particularly the service side - they were in a good position to study the minolta platform and make improvements to it. The new A900 is going to scream.

In your case, I'd go SONY.
