Hi guys. Bit of a noob at this (well, maybe a bit more than a BIT of a noob!) and I have just purchased a dimage 7hi.

Does anyone have any opinions on this camera and its suitability to someone who is new to digital photography? I'm awaiting delivery and just looking to read up on everything, though theres a lot more than I had first anticipated!!

I imagine it'll all make more sense when I have it in my hands, but if someone could maybe advise of the best settings to change or maybe more importantly what NOT to change!!

Wouldn't mind being a bit more clued up as to what is required from some great shots though.
