Lens vs Crop Factor

I'm curious about how a sensor's crop factor effects the quality of the image, if there is any. If I use 300mm lens on a camera without crop factor, would the outcome in terms of image quality be effected if I used the same lens on a camera with lets say x2 crop factor to have 600mm equiv.? and why.
