Kodak DCS 660 Question

Hello all,

I have a Kodak DCS 660 Professional Digital Camera. It is in an open box but is brand new and never used. All accessories are also new. It also has a new Nikon Speed Light with it.

I noticed this camera came out in 2000 and is discontinued. It originally retailed for $25,000!

I m thinking about selling it on eBay, but I can't find ANY place online where this camera is for sale. I have no idea what it might be worth, or what would be a reasonable price to get for it.

Can you help me here? I appreciate the wisdom of the board!

In all honesty, it's probably not worth it. Those cameras were hybrids of a digital back on a film body, and had a ton of issues and drawbacks. If you look at how the first few generations of purpose-built DSLRs that came out around that time and had better usability have fared as far as resale value goes, you'll see you would be lucky to get $150. The 660 was succeeded by the 760, which was itself a noticeable improvement, and even Kodak's 14N, which was a much more compact full-frame camera with 14-megapixel resolution that came out years later is barely selling on the used market for $500.

In this economy, it's not going to find many buyers.
