    Kodak Camera software problem....

Hi, new here, came here pretty much out of desperation, LOL...I have a Kodak DC3400 digital camera, I'm running Windows 2000. I'm trying to install the software that came with the camera, and I made sure that there is plenty of disk space. However, I'm getting this:

"an error occured during the move date process: -115"

I've successfully installed this software on this same computer many times, this is the first time this has happened. Any ideas for me? I've got a ton of vacation photos to upload, and no way to do it. Thanks for any help.

More than likely the software assumes a USB connection. As I recall, Windows 2000 is too old to support USB. If that is not the problem, contact Kodak, they tend to be helpful.

EDIT: Oops... Kodak lists this as a discontinued camera model with no more tech support available. They talk about getting it to work on the "new" Windows XP so it is many years old. The USB statement is still correct (if applicable) but getting help from Kodak seems to be unavailable. Sorry.

Do you have USB ports? If so, get an inexpensive card reader to download your photos. They work like a disk drive. Kodak software sucks. I gave up on it.
