Powershot Pro1 improved with new firmware

    Hello everyone,

I used to post a lot on photography review, but have been away a long time. Glad to be back!

I recently upgraded my firmware on my Canon Pro1 and can report that the camera's operational characteristics are GREATLY improved. It is now a camera I can rely on for most of my general purpose photographic needs. (AF is faster, more accurate, and little, if any, screen "freezes" on the LCD).

I highly recommend that you upgrade your firmware on this camera!

    Stephen,

It is good to see you back, have been wondering where you were, you have been missed around here. What happened with you username, did you have to re-register, you certainly aren't a Junior Member here. Will be great to see what you have been up to.

    Hey Howdy Hey!!!
Good to see you back. You have sorely missed around these parts, pardner
I'm looking forward to seeing your photos again on this site. So you got the Pro1, eh?
How do you like it? A couple of my relatives have bought this camera on my recommendation, but all are so far disappointed with it for its overall performance in handling and speed (which makes me look like mud), although they seem happy with the image quality.
Again, good to have you back.

Hey Steve!!! You haven't been forgotten - in fact there was a thread a few months ago about where the hell you were. Good to see you back!

    Hello everyone!

I have been off doing other things all these long months. I have been working harder than ever on my photography, and have a smugmug site with thousands of my photos on it.

    www.stevelutzphoto.smugmug.com

Feel free to email me at stevelutzphoto@bellsouth.net

I got sidetracked from photographyreview mainly because I dropped AOL, couldn't find my password for this site, didn't want to reregister, etc. Plus, I've gotten engaged and am madly in love.

One of my new year's resolutions is to visit PReview more oftern!
