Help with a digital camera

Hello,

Im in the beggining stages of running a clothing line, Im looking for a camera wich can take very detailed, high quality photos of my apparel. Each photo will need to display close ups of the silk screening and embroidery. It needs to be a pocket camera (I would like to be able to easily carry it around with me in my pocket), As I will not only be using it for business but also personal use such as taking pictures of friends and family, landscaping, buildings ect. and than editing the photos to add various effects.

Hi

Go with the highest megapixles within your budget. There are cameras on the market today with IS (Image Stabilization) built into the lens to eliminate camera shake. This may come in handy if you don't want to use the flash. The flash may white out the details.

Canon just introduced the Powershot G7 This is a semi-pro camera and will give you the quality you need. But do your own shopping and decide what is best for you.
